Our Story
I'm Mel, and this is my bridal boutique, Willow in White.
Willow is my daughter's name 🥰 (she's definitely the real boss). I opened the doors in summer 2019 in the pretty little village of St Brides Major, and now you'll find me in the beautiful town of Cowbridge.
The idea for the boutique came from planning my own wedding to my husband, James. I struggled to find my dress, and the whole experience honestly felt a bit… underwhelming. It was impersonal, quite sales-driven, and nothing like the moment I'd imagined. So I decided to create the kind of bridal experience I wished I'd had.
A space that feels calm, personal, and genuinely enjoyable — where brides feel listened to, not rushed, and where finding your dress feels exciting again.
If you love simple, clean lines and soft boho details, you're in the right place. But if you're more classic lace or a bit of sparkle, don't worry — I've got you covered.
My boutique might be small, but it's full of heart, personality, and beautifully curated dresses.

The Boutique
A quiet room, a rail of gowns, and all the time you need.
Willow in White opened in the summer of 2019 and has been so warmly rated and received ever since — do have a look through some of our reviews to get a feel for what you can expect. Every bride has complete exclusivity of the boutique for each and every appointment, so you'll find a relaxed, pressure-free environment that's yours alone. You'll be welcomed with a glass of fizz or a cuppa, and whatever cake happens to be on offer that day.
Each designer and gown at Willow in White has been lovingly chosen with you in mind — the free-spirited, modern bride. You'll notice quite quickly that my passion is boho styles, but I can assure you we have a varied selection to suit every taste and budget, and you'll be blown away by everything we have. Sizes range from 4 to 28.
You'll find us on Cowbridge High Street, in the Vale of Glamorgan, with ample parking at the town hall and the farmers' market nearby. Cowbridge is a bustling market town with a fabulous selection of shops and restaurants — and if you're planning to make a day of it, I can recommend the best places for a spot of lunch.
